"A Different Kind Of Truth" originally came out in 2012 and is the 12th and final studio album from the American rock band Van Halen. It was also their first album with new studio material with their former lead singer since the album "1984".

Seven of the album's 13 songs are musically re-worked and lyrically re-written versions of tracks that the band originally recorded as demos in the late 1970s and early 1980s, but which had never previously been officially released.

"A Different Kind of Truth" has until now only been officially released on vinyl in a limited edition on red vinyl back in 2012. A version that has long since been out of print. Now, the album is finally being re-released on vinyl, and will also be available on CD again.
