A ravishing adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's legendary novel, a FAREWELL TO ARMS stars Gary Cooper (HIGH NOON) as Lt. Frederic Henry, a young ambulance driver for the Italian army in WWI, more interested in chasing women than the enemy.
