A Flock of Seagulls | The Best of a Flock of Seagulls

This comprehensive Best Of collection is a tribute to an iconic English new wave band that was as alien as it was playful and as nostalgic as it was futuristic. A Flock Of Seagulls became synonymous with the MTV generation and was part of the so-called Second British Invasion. The band has been referenced in both Pulp Fiction and Friends, just as their music has been featured in Grand Theft Auto. Their distinctive sound is characterized by large, atmospheric soundscapes with themes such as futurism, isolation, romance, and exploration.

This collection features the band's international breakthrough hits, including “I Ran (So Far Away)” and “Space Age Love Song”, and reflects a cultural footprint that continues to resonate decades later.

The 2LP edition contains 15 of the band's greatest and most beloved hits, all of which have been newly digitally remastered. The expanded 3CD edition delves even deeper into the band's history with a selection of BBC Live Sessions recorded over the years as well as B-sides and rarities.
