Peter Gabriel | o/i

Peter Gabriel returns with o\i, the follow-up and companion album to the critically acclaimed i/o from 2023.

"The songs are a mix of thoughts and feelings," Gabriel says. "I've been thinking about the future, and how we can relate to it."

As we move into a transitional period characterized by AI, quantum computers, and brain-computer interfaces, Gabriel believes that "artists have a role in looking into the fog and, when they spot something, holding up a mirror."

Like the previous album i/o, o/i is presented in two different mixes - a Dark-Side Mix and a Bright-Side Mix - which are offered separately in different vinyl versions. The Dark-Side mix is available as a 2LP on black vinyl and as a limited 2LP on neon pink vinyl, while the Bright-Side mix is also available as a 2LP on black vinyl and additionally as a limited 2LP on neon green vinyl.

In addition to the separate LP editions, o/i is also presented with both mixes combined in a deluxe 4CD hardcover format including a booklet.

o\i was recorded at Real World Studios and features a range of excellent musicians as well as artwork created by leading artists.
