The GRAMMY-nominated extreme power metal band DRAGONFORCE is releasing their tenth studio album, DragonForce, on March 19, 2027 via Napalm Records. The album marks the beginning of a major new chapter in the band's history: With Alissa White-Gluz as the new frontwoman and Alessio Garavello as the band's second permanent vocalist, DRAGONFORCE has two full-time vocalists for the first time. White-Gluz, known as the former frontwoman of Arch Enemy and now as the vocalist for Blue Medusa, contributes not only her characteristic intensity but also her songwriting experience. The two vocalists join founding members and guitar virtuosos Herman Li and Sam Totman as well as bassist Alicia Vigil and drummer Gee Anzalone.
Since their formation in 1999, DRAGONFORCE have set the benchmark for high-speed power metal worldwide. Their platinum-selling hit “Through the Fire and Flames” became a global phenomenon through Guitar Hero III, while Inhuman Rampage achieved Gold status and spent 23 weeks on the Billboard 200.
For Herman Li and Sam Totman, the tenth album is far more than a milestone: it represents the next major step in the band’s evolution, bringing more than two decades of experience into a record that refuses to simply repeat the past. Producer Jens Bogren, who recorded the album together With DRAGONFORCE and also produced, mixed and mastered it, adds further energy, clarity and precision to the new material. The cover artwork was created by Mark Riddick. With their new lineup, DRAGONFORCE will take the new album around the world, with the first concerts and festival appearances already announced, and more dates to follow. With Alissa White-Gluz on vocals, DRAGONFORCE unlock a completely new range of musical possibilities. As the band themselves put it, this is an album “unlike any DragonForce album you've ever heard” – a new version of the band that takes it to another level.
