Chase & Status | Generic Everything
Chase & Status announce their new album "Generic Everything", which will be released on October 9, 2026. The album consists of 10 tracks and features an impressive lineup of guests, including J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, IRAH and Col3trane. The first taster is the single "Gone Too Far" featuring Debbie.
"Generic Everything" follows a particularly successful period for Chase & Status. "Baddadan" spent more than 15 weeks in the British Top 10 and achieved platinum status, while the Stormzy collaboration "BACKBONE" became the duo's first British #1 single. In addition, there was a BRIT Award for British Producer of the Year, a record-breaking sold-out arena tour in the UK and a major show at Milton Keynes National Bowl.
The album is based on the desire to oppose creative homogenization in a world increasingly shaped by algorithms and an endless stream of content. Chase & Status once again refuse to be limited by genres and move freely between rave, rap, sound system culture and electronic music.
"Generic Everything" combines the duo's characteristic production with some of the most prominent voices from the British music scene and beyond – and shows a Chase & Status who, more than two decades into their career, are still driven by the desire to evolve, collaborate, and push their sound forward.
