To get the very best from this volume, you need, or at least it would help to understand a little about the Author's quirky nature, which is reflected in his writing style. Firstly the author has a wealth of electronics knowledge and his enthusiasm for the subject flows freely in his collected articles. Whether you're a like mined electronics wiz or only have a passing interest, you won't fail to be drawn in by the rich almost 'Wikipedia' knowledge within; the difference being the author can fill in the gaps where 'Wikipedia' stops. Secondly, Seth has a quick dry sense of humour, this can easily be deduced by any amateur detective that visits his workshop; simply read the numerous posters and notes scattered around the place; warning that YOUR stupidity is going to cost you extra on your bill and that stupid questions are highly likely to receive equally stupid responses. Humour aside Seth is one of the most lovable, sincere natured human being's you are ever likely to meet, to be known by him as a 'friend' is truly an honour.
