William and His Enormous Family is a book that is meant to celebrate large families in a world that no longer has very many. It has to do with a young boy who comes from a family of six children who usually drive him completely insane while simultaneously embarrassing him quite frequently. Through his best friendship with a boy named Owen, who only has one older brother, William slowly comes to appreciate his siblings as blessings instead of a curse. Owen's older brother is part of the United States military and the boys idolize his every move. When something happens to shake both families to their core, everyone comes together to prove what family truly means.
