In the affluent Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs, two identical murders occur simultaneously a half mile apart. With a public in shock, a shooting on I-285 causes a massive pile-up killing several and injuring dozens. A lack of evidence and motive has Detective Tom Brennan scratching his head searching for a lead. Ambitious FBI Agent Linda Hunt is brought into the mix to help end a madman's killing spree. Unexpectedly, Brennan falls in love with a vibrant woman and Hunt is distracted by finding the man of her dreams.
