Hearts2Hearts debuted in February 2025 under SM Entertainment, which is also behind successful groups like aespa, Red Velvet, and Girls' Generation. With eight members – Carmen, Jiwoo, Yuha, Stella, Juun, A-na, Ian, and Ye-on – Hearts2Hearts is SM Entertainment's first new girl group since aespa in 2020.
Their debut single The Chase was already a huge success with over 400,000 copies sold in the first week – a record for a debut album from a K-pop girl group. Just 15 days after their debut, the group secured their first win on a South Korean music program, and several awards for Best New Artist followed later. The debut EP FOCUS (2025) showed new sides of the group's musical expression, while the hit "RUDE!" and the 2026 EP Lemon Tang truly cemented their growing popularity. With a Japanese debut the same year, Hearts2Hearts has already taken important steps toward an international breakthrough.
